CT 25-3 - Portable Current Source
- SKU#: CT 25-3
- Model CT 25-3 is used for testing small sections of galvanically protected gas distribution systems, underground structures, and pipelines. The CT 25-3 was specifically designed to carry out current demand surveys on pipeline segments of gas distribution systems or small underground structures, protected with directly connected galvanic anodes.

Characteristics:
- Recharging is unnecessary (the unit uses 9V batteries).
- Rechargeable 9 V batteries can be installed if desired.
- Integrated voltage and current meters, increasing ease of use. (not for calibrated readings)
- Easy connection to a calibrated, external volt meter (for output voltage, current and structure potential if connected to a reference electrode).
- Shunt reading 1 mV=1 mA (no conversion necessary).
- Adjustable output voltage (from minimum = 1.5 VDC up to maximum of 25.0 VDC, approx.).
- Off button to check polarization response.
- Reliable and easy to operate.
- Durable plastic case protects instrument from impact.
- Wide range of voltages is especially useful for temporary anode beds where high resistance is common.
- 3 Amp maximum current.
